Fiber Arts
Unique flower painting adorned with woven fibers, wool felted balls and crochet.

The color palette of my weavings is inspired by nature - the vibrancy of the sunrise, the tranquility of the open skies of Las Animas County, and the quiet of a snow-capped mountain. Each piece is an ode to the wild, natural beauty that surrounds us.

My artistic process is a spiritual one. The act of weaving allows me to become one with the elements and with each passing of the weft through the warp, I impart a piece of my soul into the artwork.

Creating each wall weaving is a labor of love that can take anywhere from several hours to a few weeks to complete, depending on the size and intricacy of the design. The result is a work of art that is as unique and individual as the materials it is crafted from.

Whether you're seeking a centerpiece for your home or office, or looking to give a meaningful, one-of-a-kind gift, my wall weavings are a wonderful choice. Each piece tells a story - the story of the yarns, the story of the creation, and ultimately, your own story as it merges with the weaving.

Let me help you tell your story through a unique, beautiful piece of wall-weaving art.

Note: The yarns are hand-spun which makes the art pieces more personal and each piece has a unique touch. Your artwork will never be duplicated and will always be original.

My homestead fiber art will be available in a multitude of locations this summer, contact me directly for more information or how to get your own customer fiber art!

  Handwoven Wall Hangings

At Adorned Forest, nestled in the serene surroundings of Boncarbo, Colorado, each handwoven wall hanging tells its own story of beauty, diligence, and passion. Created in the tranquility of my home studio, every piece emerges from a process deeply rooted in mindfulness and a dedication to the craft. I, personally, pour hours of meticulous attention and care into weaving and sewing these textiles, ensuring that what you bring into your home is not just an object, but a treasure.

The journey of each handwoven piece is a testament to individuality - no two hangings are alike. From the selection of the highest quality materials to the intricate execution of each color blend, texture variation, technique application, and design conception, every textile is a unique expression of happiness and warmth. It’s our hope that these wall hangings become a cherished part of your home, bringing joy and comfort for many years.

At Adorned Forest, I champion the virtues of the handmade, the locally sourced, the small businesses, and the importance of knowing the journey and stories behind your purchases.
